The research university of Lafayette ,the university of Arkansas is a public,co educational,land grant,space grant in the U.S state of Arkansas.University of Arkansas system is the flagship campus which comprises six main campuses in the state i.e the university of Arkansas at little rock, the university of Arkansas at Monticello, the university of Arkansas pine bluff,the university of Arkansas forth smith, the university of Arkansas for medical sciences. 

The professional programs,graduate,undergraduate are enrolled by 188 ,more than 26000 students.Carnegie foundation classified the research university with

very high research activity which was founded as Arkansas industrial university in 1871.Arkansas industrial university presents name was adopted in 1899 and the first classes was held inn January 20,1872.For the strong architecture, agriculture(Particularly animal science and poultry science)business,communication disorder,creative writing,history ,law and middle studies program is noted.The university of Arkansas has finished its campaign for the 21st century in 2005, in which the university has raised for than $1 billions for the school,used in the part to create the college and increase the university endowment.The gifts were the largest donation given to the business school at the time($50 million).In america($300 million)was the largest gift given to the public.
